Since I’m giving you tips for jailbroken iPhone and iPad tweaks, here’s a quick one for all of you who are often on Twitter.

QuickTweet was updated today to version 1.1.1-1 and this great package, that only works with iOS 5.x, adds a Twitter icon in your Notification Center. When you need to write a new tweet, simply slide the finger to get to the Notification Center, tap the Twitter icon and you’re good to go.

Fixed settings for QuickTweet to be enabled by default

Added settings for:
Whether the notification center dismisses after pressing the button.
Position of the button.
Enabling/disabling tweak

The free tweak is available from the BigBoss repo: simply launch Cydia and search for QuickTweet. Hit Install and you’re good to tweet!
